Installer Terms

EVIOS Accredited Installer Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions form the basis of our obligations to you.  You shall be deemed to have accepted these terms by proceeding with your order.

Installation

You will be responsible for ensuring that the charge points are installed in line with the regulations in force at the time as well as EVIOS’ instructions as detailed in the EVIOS on-line training.

Following the installation, you will be responsible for

  • Commissioning the charge point,
  • Demonstrating the proper use of the charge point to the customer,
  • Notifying EVIOS of the customer’s details via the EVIOS installer portal
  • Notifying the DNO of the installation as appropriate
  • Claiming any grants on behalf of the customer

Warranty

EVIOS charge points come with a comprehensive 36 month on-site warranty starting from the date of installation.  This covers manufacturing defects.

Installation by a non-EVIOS trained person, opening of the unit by a non EVIOS trained person  or damage arising from abuse, tampering, modification, or other misuse will invalidate the  warranty.

Please report any EVIOS product failures to helpdesk@myevios.com, including the date of installation, charge point serial number, and a description of the failure.  We will investigate the problem and arrange an engineer’s visit or replacement unit as appropriate should a manufacturing defect be evident in the EVIOS hardware.

You will be responsible for any failures arising in and from the installation.  We will report any such claims made by the customer to us back to you, and you will be expected to provide free on-site customer support to resolve them.

Trade terms

As part of your EVIOS accreditation, you will be entitled to a trade discount.  This discount will be linked to your EVIOS Trade account, and is not transferable to other companies or individuals.

These trade terms will be withdrawn in the case of misuse (for example, where you share your trade discount with other individuals or companies).

Reselling

You are authorised to provide the EVIOS products bought from us to your customers as part of your everyday business of installing charge points.

You are not authorised to resell the charge points without installation services (for example, via online auction sites or your own website)

Limitation of Liability

EVIOS will not accept liability for any losses, costs, or consequential damage arising from the installation and use and/or misuse of EVIOS equipment, unless caused by our gross negligence.

EVIOS will not accept liability for any losses, costs, or consequential damage arising from the cancellation (either beforehand or on the day) of an installation appointment.

Our liability will not be greater than the discount we offer you for the charge point you will be installing, except for liability for personal injury or death caused by our negligence, or other situations where our liability cannot be limited by law.

Ordering and cancellation

  • Orders received by 11am will normally be dispatched next working day
  • Orders received after 11am will normally be dispatched in two working days

If you change your mind, you can cancel your order with no charge before the charge point has been dispatched.  If you return the charge point within 14 days of delivery, we will refund you the cost of the charge point as long as it is returned undamaged and no attempt has been made to open the box or install it. You will be responsible for the return postage cost.  No refunds will be available outside of this time period.

EVIOS brand and assets

Our brand is very important to us.  As an Authorised EVIOS Installer, you will be entitled to use EVIOS branding as found on the Installer Portal (www.xxx.com) for the purposes of promoting your business and services.

You are not entitled to claim to represent EVIOS in any other capacity than as an authorised installer.
